Lake has held a Park Rehabilitation and Facilities Maintenance and Vegetative Management contract under the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) at Rend Lake for the past several years.  Work performed under the maintenance contract includes various renovations, construction, concrete work, excavation, grading, rip rap, fabrication, drainage work, small pavilions and other similar work.  The Vegetative Management contract, includes general vegetation management, planting, mowing, debris removal, misc. construction, pumping, tree and plant management, water control structures, rip rap, annual planting of fields for wildlife habitat and food plots as well as other related work.
